Looking forward to nice holidays
First of all I need to say that I’m leaving for Turgutreis tomorrow and I’m so happy to have the Guide with me, both on my Kindle and on my Android phone. Why did not I have similar guides when I’ve visited Datça Peninsula in 2011 and 2012 and Çeşme and Karaburun Peninsulae in 2008?
I believe the book will be very helpful for my family and me in everyday planning of our 2-week stay at Turgutreis in apartments, in organizing our catering and entertainment, our trips around the peninsula and to the Kos Island as well. Many thanks to the author who summarized his own experience and find time to share it with us.

There is more to Bodrum than you think
So many people visit the Bodrum Peninsula each year and see only the city and adjoining tourist resorts. As a regular visitor I have been saying for years that people should hop on a dolmuş and stray off the beaten track. This guide will really make you want to visit every part of the peninsula and take in the history, culture, hospitality and natural beauty of this area.
I have been going to Bodrum for 13 years and I learned loads so whether a first time visitor or a regular it will be useful. You can feel in the guide that Jay truly knows and loves the area and has taken care and time penning it. I am one of the contributors for the Gündoğan area to the original blog that formed the basis for the guide and know it has been put together over a few years.
A great read to get you in the mood for holiday and really make the most of the Bodrum Peninsula

Good introduction to the greater Bodrum area
I particularly liked the linking of her articles to other references including Google Maps and how to use public transport to get around.

Amazing Bodrum Travel Guide
This travel book is an excellent and comprehensive guide to a fantastic area of Turkey. The author has spent a lot of time in every nook of the area and gives the readers a real feel for the area and all the right hidden gems to check out. The Bodrum Peninsula does not have a lot of dedicated guides so this is the one to have to explore this beautiful section of Turkey.

Turkish Delight!
Lots of interesting and useful information that you can not find through internet research or other generalized Turkish guide books. The most up to date book that has everything a visitor would want in a guide – history, culture, food, transport, coverage of sights and the best time to visit for the Bodrum Peninsula.
Difficult to find maps and Google coordinates are the sugared icing to this Turkish delight -this book helps pick where to go and what to see; easy to read and down to earth, it contains a wide range of venues and ideas which are sure to offer something of interest for everyone!

Quite a Coup
Despite being one of the best trodden tourist trails in Turkey, there are few, if any, comprehensive guidebooks to the Bodrum Peninsula. Until now, that is. Meticulously researched, well written and easy to navigate, the Bodrum Peninsula Travel Guide is an all-inclusive compendium, covering everything that a visitor needs to know about this gorgeous little corner of Turkey.
Even those who are well-acquainted with the area will find some surprising little nuggets. The author has pulled off quite a coup.
